1. Who we are
The website ciaobuddies.com (the “Website”) and the CiaoBuddies™ brand are operated by MCK Oakmont LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States of America, registration no. 2026-002024665 (Wyoming Secretary of State), EIN 98-1952956, with registered office at 1501 South Greeley Hwy, Ste C #1573, Cheyenne, WY 82007, USA (“CiaoBuddies”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Website and every purchase made on it. They apply to consumers, meaning natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. We currently sell and deliver to Italy and Spain.
By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
3. Age and account
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
4. Products and information
We describe our products as accurately as possible. Pictures are illustrative: small differences in colour, packaging or appearance may occur depending on production batches and on your screen. The essential characteristics of each product, its price and any product-specific return period are shown on the product page.
Our products are consumer products for home and childcare use. They are not medical devices unless expressly stated on the product page, and the information on the Website does not replace the advice of a doctor, paediatrician or pharmacist. Always read the instructions supplied with the product and keep products out of the reach of children when they are not being used under adult supervision.
5. Prices and taxes
All prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT and any other applicable taxes: the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay, with no taxes added afterwards. Shipping is free for orders over €20; for smaller orders the shipping cost, if any, is clearly shown at checkout before you confirm the order.
We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect orders that have already been confirmed. If a product is shown at an obviously wrong price because of a clear technical or typing error, we will contact you before shipping and you may choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.
6. Orders and contract
The products shown on the Website are an invitation to make an offer. Your order is an offer to buy; the contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order only for legitimate reasons (for example, the product is out of stock, the price is manifestly wrong, payment is not authorised or there are reasonable signs of fraud). In that case we will inform you and refund any amount paid within 14 days.
We keep a copy of the contract; you will receive a summary of your order by email. Orders can be placed in Italian, Spanish or English.
7. Payment
Payment is made at checkout through the methods shown (for example credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna). Payments are processed by secure third-party providers: we never see or store your full card details.
8. Shipping and delivery
Orders are processed within 24–48 business hours and delivered on average within 4–7 business days after dispatch. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver within 30 days of the contract. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have indicated, physically receive the products.
9. Right of withdrawal and returns
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving any reason. Some products benefit from a longer voluntary return period of up to 90 days, as indicated on the product page. Conditions, exceptions and the model withdrawal form are set out in our Refund Policy.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the law of your country of residence (in Italy 2 years from delivery under the Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005; in Spain 3 years from delivery under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If a product is defective or not as described, write to info@ciaobuddies.com with your order number and a photo or video of the problem: you are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement or, where the law provides, to a price reduction or a refund. Return costs for defective products are borne by us.
11. Correct use of the products
Use the products only for their intended purpose and following the instructions. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper use, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow the instructions, without prejudice to the mandatory rules on product liability.
12. Liability
We are liable towards you in accordance with the law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, under product liability laws, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Within those limits, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was concluded or that are caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see section 13).
13. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, strikes, war, acts of authorities, customs checks, carrier disruptions or outages of third-party systems. We will inform you as soon as possible and, if the delay is significant, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
14. Intellectual property
Texts, images, videos, graphics, logos and the CiaoBuddies™ trademark are owned by MCK Oakmont LLC or used under licence and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
15. Use of the Website
You agree not to use the Website for unlawful purposes, not to interfere with its security or operation, and not to submit false or misleading information. Reviews and comments must be truthful, respectful and must not infringe the rights of others; we may remove content that violates these rules.
16. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical or business changes. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the Website at the time you place it.
18. Complaints and dispute resolution
For any complaint please contact us first at info@ciaobuddies.com: most issues are solved quickly. The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. You may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed in your country or to the competent courts.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of your country of residence within the European Union. In any case you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and the competent court is the court of your place of residence or domicile.
20. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. In case of doubt, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer applies. In case of discrepancy between language versions, the version in the language of your order prevails.
